About me

Well, after so many years (26 to be exact), there is actually a lot one could write, right? I’ll try my best but we’ll see :)

I was born in Belgrade, Serbia, on August 15th, 1981. Up till my 18th birthday I lived in Belgrade, but then it was time for me to grow up and move on. My parents supported the decision, and a lot more - the education which would come with such decision, so on my birthday in 1999 I set off to a trip of a lifetime; I was on my way to the USA.

I graduated from High School that year and then from University of Illinois at Chicago four years later, majoring in Mathematics Statistics and Computer Science.

I started working as a Freelance Web Developer while still in college and I continued that up until 12 of July, 2007. This is the date I decided to Incorporate and start my own business. I am still doing the same thing but on a bigger scale and with a lot more credibility.

– Update 1: My Equipment (something all us geeks like to know about each other) –

  1. Main Computer (24" iMac Aluminum):

    - 2.8GHz Core 2 Duo Extreme
    - 4GB of RAM
    - 500GB Internal drive, 1×1TB + 1×300GB on FireWire 800, 1×500GB on USB
    - Mac OS X Leopard for all Multimedia Stuff + Vista on Bootcamp for work

  2. Main Laptop (Sony Vaio SZ-370P)

    - Intel Core 2 T7200 @ 2GHz
    - 2GB of RAM
    - 120GB internal drive, 1×160GB Seagate Agent portable drive
    - Runs mainly Windows XP

  3. Laptop for testing all kinds of stuff (LG LS-70 Express)

    - Main thing is that it runs XP, Vista and Linux depending on it’s tasks at hand
    - 2GB of RAM

As for software, as a web developer I require:
- Adobe Photoshop CS3
- Adobe Dreamweaver 8 and CS3
- A good old Notepad!
- Apache 2 Triad bundle on XP for Apache, MySQL, and PHP
- MAMP for the same bundle on Mac OS X

Extra hardware which plays a big role:
- Nikon D40 digital camera
- Sony HDR-CX7 HD Camcorder
- Logitech MX1000 Laser Mouse
- Bose Noise Canceling Headphones
- Samson C03U USB Microphone
- and the best of all, Wacom Cintiq 12WX Tablet! I love it :)
